CLARA Co-founder Zoraida Sambolin is a 3 time Emmy award-winning journalist, a former CNN news anchor, and a 20-year veteran anchor of morning news in Chicago.
She has been a steadfast supporter of local charitable organizations in her hometown including serving as a Board member of the Goodman Theatre and is committed to establishing a better quality of life for those around her.
Zoraida is also a breast cancer survivor and lends her voice, support, and time to Susan G. Komen and other organizations helping women navigate the life-changing diagnosis.
She is blessed with two ridiculously funny and witty kids and is keenly aware of how lucky she is to watch them grow up. Her superpower is her fierce loyalty and she makes a mean Chilean sea bass that her husband Ken loves.
